Childhood Obesity

My name is Katie Stewart, I am a senior at Pitt, my major is Social Sciences. In case you aren’t sure what that means…my core classes are legal studies, psychology and sociology. I am also working towards a writing for the professions certificate.

I have worked in human resources for a manufacturing plant for almost three years. The two years previous to that I handled typical office work for multiple organizations under the same owner. Before I found my way into the adminstrative field I waitressed for five years! These all have been great learning experiences and opportunities. However, my true interests are nutrition and health but to change my major at this point would be crazy! When I am not working, attending class or studying I enjoy working out, eating out and doing anything social. I do enjoy some down time too!
